On Wednesday, 7/22, shortly before 3:00pm the fire department was dispatched to a reported car fire at the AutoZone on Kinderkamack Road. Engine 1 arrived and found a single vehicle in the parking lot with an engine compartment fire. Members quickly stretched an inch and 3/4 hand-line to start extinguishing the fire. Engine 1-2 and Truck 1 arrived shortly after to assist in overhaul and repacking of the hose. No one was hurt, good job by all!
