On Thursday June 11th, around 10:30am, the fire department was requested to respond mutual aid into Englewood Cliffs for a commercial structure fire. Engine 1 responded originally for town coverage but was upgraded to go to the scene and assist in fire suppression operations. The engine crew operated a hand-line and fed Harrington Park’s ladder truck while demolition crews arrived and started to demolish the unsafe structure. Our crew was on scene approximately for 4 hours. Good job by all.
