WFD goes Mutual Aid into Woodcliff Lake for a Structure Fire 5/5/24

On Sunday, May 5th, around 5pm the fire department was requested mutual aid into Woodcliff Lake for a house fire. Truck 1 arrived on scene and was designated the F.A.S.T. Team. Members quickly “softened up” the structure by placing ground ladders to the second floor windows, and then stood fast in case a firefighter became injured. The fire was quickly extinguished by the first arriving Woodcliff Lake units, no one was injured, good job by all.
