On Wednesday May 4th around 1pm, the fire department was dispatched to Bergenline Avenue for a working truck fire. First arriving units found a small box truck with an engine compartment fire. Engine 1’s crew stretched a line and immediately started to knock down the fire, while engine 1-2’s crew assisted with overhaul. Fire was knocked down within minutes of the first due engine’s arrival allowing no extension to the rest of the vehicle. Good job by all.
