Oakland Ave. Structure Fire

At 05:35 hrs, The Fire Department was requested for a possible house fire on Oakland Ave within the borough. 15-1 Arrived and confirmed a Fully Involved House Fire with possible Exposure Issues. A Hillsdale Engine, Woodcliff Lake FAST, Emerson Squad, and Washington Township Truck was immediately requested. Engine 1 arrived and stretched a line to the Bravo side of the house to protect the exposure. Truck 1 arrived and assisted in fire suppression with a Master Stream from the tower. six firefighters were briefly trapped when the house collapsed. All the Firefighters were transported to HUMC North as a precaution and released shortly after. Crews from Hillsdale, Washington Township, Emerson, Woodcliff Lake, River Vale, Old Tappan, Park Ridge, and Paramus operated at the scene. The Fire was determined to be started by a boiler issue.
