At 05:16 hrs, on July 2nd, 2020, The Fire Department was requested for a reported house fire within the borough on hillside ave. Captain 15-5 arrived quickly and reported fire showing on the second floor. Engine 1 arrived and stretched a pre-connect to the second floor while the truck preformed searches and started to open up and vent. Engine 1 had its own water, while Engine 1-2 took a secondary water supply. A Hillsdale Engine and Woodcliff Lake FAST were dispatched to the scene. The fire was under control in approx. 30 mins.
